Handling on failure of NIDD Configuration
Following behavior is not clear:
- Whether IN-CSE stores the successful NIDD configuration locally.
- What is to be done at IN-CSE on failure of NIDD Configuration? How does it know that NIDD Configuration failed for a UE? Also should resource be created if NIDD Configuration is unsuccessful?
During TDE meeting, it was discussed that set the niddRequired attribute of <serviceSubscribedNode> resource to FALSE on failure of NIDD configuration. This handling is confusing as niddRequired for the given UE should be TRUE as NIDD is required for it but NIDD Configuration is failed, it should be marked in a new attribute e.g. niddConfigStatus.
Following can be done: TS-0026 clause 7.1.1.1- Step 5 on receiving successful NIDD Configuration response from SCEF, IN-CSE locally stores the NIDD Configuration details. on failure of NIDD Configuration, IN-CSE marks the niddConfigStatus attribute of resource to "FAILED" so that an AE can know the status of NIDD Configuration.
